Immerse yourself in lavender at North America's premier lavender event, the Sequim Lavender Festival. Stroll through fields of fragrant lavender and visit local vendors offering lavender-themed gifts, fine food and entertainment. Sequim has one of the highest concentrations of lavender farms in all the United States, which is why many refer to Sequim as the “Lavender Capital of North America”.
Enjoy a curated day trip which includes transportation with stops at four unique farms, each with their own distinct offerings. Indulge in live music at the Lavender Festival Street Fair and enjoy some local eats while on your excursion to Sequim, WA on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula!

Day Trip Itinerary:
5:40am: Arrive at the Victoria ferry terminal. Check in, receive your Lavender Festival package, and go through US Customs.
6:10am: Ferry departs Victoria.
7:40am: Arrive in Port Angeles, and board the charter shuttle.
8:30am: Shuttle arrives at B&B Family Farm.
9:30am: Shuttle departs from B&B Family Farm.
9:35am: Shuttle arrives at Victor's Lavender.
10:45am: Shuttle departs from Victor's Lavender.
11:15am: Shuttle arrives at Carrie Blake Park Street Fair.
There are several food vendors at this stop.
1:15pm: Shuttle departs from Carrie Blake Park Street Fair.
1:35pm: Shuttle arrives at Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm.
There is a food and ice cream vendor, as well as local beer, wine and cider at this stop.
3:00pm: Shuttle departs from Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm.
3:15pm: Shuttle arrives at Olympic Bluffs Cidery & Lavender Farm.
There are two food vendors, as well as cider at this stop.
4:15pm: Shuttle departs from Olympic Bluffs Cidery & Lavender Farm.
4:50pm: Shuttle arrives in Port Angeles. Board the ferry.
5:15pm: Ferry departs Port Angeles.
6:45pm: Arrive in Victoria, and go through Canada Customs.

ABOUT THE FARMS
B&B Lavender Farm
Bruce and Bonnie (the B&B of B&B Lavender Farm) spent some time up in Sequim living aboard their boat and knew that they loved the area. They returned following their oldest daughter, Amy Miller, and her family who moved to Port Angeles in 2012. Once they were in Sequim, Bruce and Bonnie searched for a way to entice Kristy (their other daughter) and her husband, Zion, away from San Diego so the whole family could live in the same place for the very first time. Well, B&B Family Lavender Farm was the ticket! Sharing a love for nature, adventure and family, they head into their 11th season with their entire crew, owning a three-generation lavender farm.
Victor's Lavender
When it comes to propagating lavender, Victor Gonzales, a wholesale lavender grower, and supplier, is considered an expert and has worked to help set up lavender farms across North America. He has successfully propagated more than two million lavender plants and counting. Since planting his first lavender plants in 1997, Victor has developed growing practices that have allowed his plants to thrive. During the last decade, Victor’s green thumb has helped Sequim become the official lavender capital of North America.
Jardin du Soleil Lavender
In 2011 after leaving the corporate life in Santa Barbara, California, Jordan and Paul packed into their 26 foot trailer "Mimi" with their two kids (1yo and 4yo at the time) and set out to find the next adventure in life. Six months on the road, 34 States, and countless miles later the Schiefens pulled into a little corner of the Pacific Northwest, a town they couldn't even pronounce. After exploring the charming town for a couple of days they heard that one of the local iconic lavender farms was up for sale. An offer was made and after 15 days, Jardin du Soleil became the Schiefens' new adventure.
Jardin du Soleil is a certified organic lavender farm, cradled in the rainshadow of Washington State's Olympic Mountains. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected wildlife, the farm was planted in 1999 on land that was part of a dairy farm established in the 1880's. Victorian gardens, ponds, fruit trees and lavender fields encompass the landscape.
Olympic Bluffs Cidery & Lavender Farm
In 2013, Ginger and Scott visited the Olympic Peninsula for the first time during the annual Lavender Festival and immediately fell in love with the beauty of the land and the spirit of the community. In 2020, they made the peninsula their full-time home. With the goal of creating great cider and the desire to bring community together, they decided to start a hard cidery and lavender farm. They have planted an orchard of 500 Semi-dwarf cider apple trees, 3,500 lavender plants, an apiary and an acre of ancient grains (wheat and rye) on a 16 acre farm.
