Traveling with a Vehicle/Motorcyle:
A portion of every sailing is available for non-reserved vehicles; however, vehicle reservations are recommended to secure a specific sailing time.
While telephone reservations for vehicles may be made at any time up to one hour prior to sailing, online reservations for vehicles must be made at least 3 hours prior to departure.
If a sailing shows "first-come, first-serve" online, you can contact your departure terminal in Port Angeles or Victoria to find out how far in advance you may need to arrive to secure a non-reserved vehicle space.
Traveling as a Walk-on:
We have ample space on the ferry for walk-on passengers, and you do have the option of purchasing walk-on tickets without a reservation just prior to boarding.
If, however, you prefer the convenience of pre-paying for your walk-on ferry tickets, walk-on reservations can be booked up until 24 hours prior to departure. Reserved tickets will be set aside for you to pick up when you arrive at the terminal.
Vehicle Reservations:
When making a vehicle reservation online to guarantee your vehicle on a desired sailing, the reservation fee is the only amount charged at the time of your booking. The full amount is displayed online for passenger convenience. The fare will be paid upon arrival at the ferry terminal. Please Note: Reservation fees are non-refundable and are charged in addition to ferry fare.
Walk-on Reservations:
When making a walk-on reservation online, the entire amount is prepaid online at the time of your booking. You can pick up your ferry tickets at the ticket window upon arrival on your day of travel.
Hotel and Attraction Bookings:
When making a reservation that includes a hotel and/or an attraction, the entire amount is prepaid online at the time of your booking. This also includes any ferry fare reserved as part of the reservation. You can pick up your ferry package at the ticket window upon arrival on your day of travel (including any hotel(s) and/or attractions(s) and ferry ticket(s) booked).
