Entering Canada Beginning April 1, 2022 (Including Returning Canadians)

Effective April 1, 2022, pre-arrival COVID testing is no longer required for fully vaccinated travelers entering Canada. Please Note: Filling out information on ArriveCAN is still required, and must be filled out within 72 hours before entering Canada and prior to arriving at our Port Angeles terminal. Please also have your vaccination card or a photo of it ready in the event you are asked to show it.

Beginning April 25, 2022, unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children under the age of 12 are no longer required to provide a valid pre-entry test result, if they are accompanying a fully vaccinated adult.

They will be exempt from quarantine, without any limitations on their activities. This means, for example, they don't need to wait 14 days before attending school, camp or daycare. However they will need to wear a mask in public settings (including school) for 14 days after arrival to Canada.

Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children 12 – 17 years of age must complete a 14 day quarantine as well as pre-entry testing, arrival and day 8 testing.

Children who are less than 5 years old are not required to test, regardless of their vaccination status.
