Ascend from sea level in Port Angeles to just over 5,200 feet to the summit of Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park on the Olympic Peninsula. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains, Puget Sound, and even Vancouver Island from the summit of Hurricane Ridge.
Hop on the 10:30am sailing from Victoria, then take the Clallam Transit shuttle direct to Hurricane Ridge. The shuttle departs at 12:30pm from the Gateway Transit Center (123 E Front Street), about a block from our Port Angeles terminal. You will have about 2 hours atop Hurricane Ridge. The shuttle will depart from Hurricane Ridge at 3:30pm, which will get you into Port Angeles around 4:15pm to depart on the 5:15pm sailing back to Victoria.

Please note that due to a fire in 2023, the Hurricane Ridge Day Lodge will be closed throughout the 2024 season. The following changes will be in place:
- The Hurricane Ridge Mountain View Café, Gift Shop & Rental Shop will be closed. Please plan ahead by bringing your own food and drinks. Travelers can pack snacks or a lunch from Victoria (food items must not contain seeds or pits as per Customs requirement), or food items can be purchased onboard the ship in our coffee shop.
- Temporary restrooms, including accessible and family restrooms, will be available at Hurricane Ridge.
- Some sidewalk areas may be closed.

Morning Day Trip Itinerary:
10:00am: Arrive at the Victoria ferry terminal. Check in, receive your Hurricane Ridge package, and go through US Customs.
10:30am: Ferry departs Victoria.
12:00pm: Arrive in Port Angeles, and head to the shuttle stop.
12:30pm: Shuttle departs from the Gateway Transit Station (123 E Front Street) to Hurricane Ridge.
1:15pm: Shuttle arrives at the top of Hurricane Ridge. You will have just over two hours to explore.
3:30pm: Shuttle departs from Hurricane Ridge.
4:15pm: Shuttle arrives in Port Angeles.
4:45pm: Arrive at the Port Angeles ferry terminal.
5:15pm: Ferry departs Port Angeles.
6:45pm: Arrive in Victoria, and go through Canada Customs.
