Everything You Need to Know About Crabfest in Port Angeles, WA

This Thanksgiving... Save a turkey, eat a crab! The Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival in Port Angeles (aka Crabfest) IS BACK! For the weekend of October 6-8, visit the crab-tastic festival to feast on local Dungeness crab and an assortment of other seafood, plus enjoy live music, craft vendors, and other fun entertainment for the whole family! Book your Crabfest package through Black Ball, and save on your crab feed. PLUS! Save on ferry fare when you book a Crabfest package for Friday or Sunday. Day trip packages from only $71 USD per person, including ferry fare + crab feed (a whole Dungeness crab, corn on the cob and coleslaw)! BOOK NOW Crabfest Day Trip Itinerary 9:45am: Arrive at the Black Ball terminal in Victoria (430 Belleville Street). If you haven't picked up your Crabfest package, you can pick up your package at the Crabfest table located right outside of our terminal. Here’s some of our Crabfest highlights that you won’t want to miss. Crab Feed From 11am-9pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11am-5pm on Sunday, stop by the First Fed Central Tent for your old-fashioned Dungeness crab feed! All crab feeds include a whole fresh Dungeness Crab (warm or cold), corn on the cob, and coleslaw. Crabfest 5k Fun Run The Crabfest 5k Fun Run registration is open! The run starts at the City Pier on Saturday, October 7 at 11:00am. The route takes you out-and-back along the waterfront trail in downtown Port Angeles. The run is open to all ages! Day of registration will be open from 9:30am-11:00am.  Crab a Partner and Dance! This year’s Crabfest is offering three different music venues. Click here for a full list of the performance schedule. There will be free live music at the First Fed Crab Central Tent, as well as "The Claw" - First Fed Gateway Bistro. Additionally, concerts will take place inside the stunning new Field Hall waterfront theater. Crab feed ticket holders will receive $5 off each concert tickets purchased. The Route

Black Ball Ferry Line operates the M.V. Coho passenger and vehicle ferry linking Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island with Port Angeles, WA on the scenic Olympic Peninsula. It is the most direct ferry crossing between Victoria and the United States, with daily, year-round service provided.

The 90-minute, 22.59 nautical mile (42 km) trip is a scenic journey through the Strait of Juan de Fuca. During the crossing, enjoy the ship’s many amenities including the cafeteria, gift shop, duty free store, comfortable interior lounges, solarium and pet-friendly areas.
