Victoria Butterfly Gardens with Ferry

Enjoy the stunning beauty and colour of exotic butterflies, free flying birds, a flamingo, and a variety of jungle creatures at the Victoria Butterfly Gardens. Thousands of free-flying butterflies will delight guests of this indoor tropical paradise, specifically designed to showcase the life cycle of butterflies and moths. The jungle is carefully controlled to maintain the perfect balance of temperature and humidity for all of the plants and animals. We even grow papaya, vanilla and pineapple! There are also poison dart frogs, wall lizards and geckos, tortoises and turtles, even a dwarf cayman that call the gardens home. All of Butterfly Garden's birds and animals are adopted, rescued or donated.

Please Note: The Butchart Gardens shuttle does not currently stop at the Butterfly Gardens. You must have your own way to the Butterfly Gardens. If you do not have a vehicle, you may catch the #75 BC Transit public transportation bus from the east side of the Parliament Building. A day pass can be purchased for $5 CAD in Victoria.
